LA AutoShow 1000LB Vehicle Concpet

Minor project for final year of university. The LA AutoShow breif to create a vehicle which only weights 1000LB. These are the final renders of my concept..... Alias model to follow.

Billboard Appearance

Our first year university work was used as a billboard in Huddersfield town centre. Placed up by Kirklees Council, with a select few from university, it was a nice find.

Ford Funky Function

Final project for 2nd year university. We started a live project with Ford and we were asked to design a Funky Functional vehicle which was different to everything else out there. After a few weeks of development work i came up with an idea to incorporate a forklift truck into a delivery vehicle. This was my outcome. CAD made in Auto Desk Alias and then rendered using Solidworks.

Morgan Aeromax 2 Final Concept

These are some final concept renders of our Morgan. We are presenting to Morgan in late April so hopefully that will go smoothly. But now it is time to get stuck into our Ford live project. Huddersfield University pulling everything out of the bag there with our final piece of the year.

Morgan Aeromax 2 clay

Just a little look into our clay created with Ryan Ramsdale. 90% complete here, just some final touches and some rapid prototyped wheels to be added and it will be complete. Foam wheels here are just to see a final finish. Completed will be larger to fill the arches.

Morgan Aeromax 2.... Final Interior

The final rendered interior views for our live Morgan project. Images showing, Ash wood centre console, seating layout, over drivers shoulder, start/stop button, dashboard, gear stick, and finally door cards. Created using Auto Desk Alias and rendered using Solidworks. This model didn't really turn out as well as i had first hoped. I intended to render the model in 3D Studio Max but after some trouble getting everything sorted and time running out i resorted to Solidworks. I may look into re-rendering the model in SMax for my own personal benefit.

This is my first ever 3D model. The Lego F1 car was our first project for CAD in my first year at university. Had to delve through a few files to find this one.

Morgan Aero Max 2 development renders

This is the concept for our Morgan Aero Max2 so far. Further development needs to be done and then we will be creating a clay model and an Auto Desk Alias interior.

Mini Racer Clay Model

1st Year University Project. These are images of the clay model which we produced as a team for our Mini Racer project. The clay had to be presented with a final board. The solidworks which i created was added to the board with other team members photoshop renders. The wheels, alloys, and mud guards have been rapid prototyped specifically for the clay.

Development sketches for a new Seat to be produced in 2013, Brief was to stick to a wheel base of a Golf and to ensure that the ergonomes of the Golf platform could fit into the GA created for this car. A 5:1 scale half clay model was made to go with the presentation

Mini Racer

Mini racer project from 1st year university.
Brief was to create a race car for the mini brand, using which ever of the mini brand identities we liked, clay model was also created for the presentation. Created using Solidworks 2009

Start of Blog

Day one of blog, thought it would be a good idea to get one of these off the ground sooner rather than later so here we are. Putting portfolio together in the next few days so past work will be appearing momentarily.
